Home Sweet Lukla

Holy momo (iykyk), our trek has come to a close. Lukla is THE official finish line on the EBC CIRCUIT, AND HOME TO A FEW OF OUR NEPALI CREW.

We got into “town” early and had time to explore, celebrate, and do a wee bit of shoppin’ 🫣. The girls got together and held a mini snack potluck at a local coffee shop to offload some of our weight (bags must be a certain weight to fly back to kathmandu)

After we were fully fed, it was time for dinner! 🤣 this would be our last night with our nepali guides, yak drivers, and even some of their family. We danceD and sang as best as we could to nepali songs (none of my dancing will ever be “good”), before they asKed to play some “English music” for us. 🥹. The joy of finishing a hard adventure was hitting everyone and hugs/laughter were abundant. 🇳🇵

Tomorrow we say goodbye and take our sketchy flight back to Kathmandu!
